It’s with a heavy heart that we’ve had to push pause on AUSA’s 2022 Orientation Festival.

We have been working hard over the past 8 months to craft and curate an O-Week Festival of epic proportions – but unfortunately, the Government’s latest announcement and shift to the ‘Red’ traffic light setting means we’re unable to go ahead with the majority of physical events that we were so excited to share with you.

The care of our students is paramount, and we don’t feel that we are able to bring these experiences to you in a way that ensures safety for all involved.

But we’ve got some good news too! Even if we can’t do it all in person, we’ve still got a bunch of awesome online events planned for Orientation Week, as well as a few limited capacity events popping up in a few places.

We’re also shifting our focus to ensure that all students have the assistance they need and feel supported during their first week of lectures. We’ve got everything from comedy, quizzes and scavenger hunts, all the way through to cooking classes and cocktail nights, as well as workout and yoga sessions to keep the mind and body active.

In the meantime – stay safe and look out for each other! We’ll see you soon.
