The President of AUSA is the voice of the student body and the leader of both the AUSA Executive and Student Council. This role is about driving the vision of AUSA, representing students at every level, and ensuring their voices are heard where it matters most. As President, you’ll be the Association’s primary spokesperson — whether in the media, at University committees, or alongside student societies.
Day-to-day, the President leads the Executive team, supports the Senior Leadership Team and works alongside General Manager, and oversees AUSA’s governance of its trusts and entities. Responsibilities include chairing meetings, engaging with senior University leaders, and advocating on issues that affect students’ academic, social, and community experience.
It’s a role that requires leadership, adaptability, and collaboration, but it’s also an incredible opportunity to shape campus life and deliver real impact for students.
