The Engagement Vice-President (EnVP) is responsible for leading AUSA’s engagement initiatives and exec-run events. A key focus of the role is overseeing AUSA’s Themed Weeks programme, including managing the Weeks Tender process and working with student clubs and communities to deliver engaging, impactful events throughout the year.
The EnVP also chairs the Craccum Administration Board, providing leadership and oversight for AUSA’s student magazine. Collaboration is central to the role, with the EnVP working closely with portfolio officers, such as the Women’s Rights and International Students Officers etc, on projects including special-edition magazines, themed events, and other student engagement initiatives.
As a member of AUSA’s Senior Leadership Team, the EnVP helps guide the Executive’s strategy while attending Council and Executive meetings. Combining event management, creativity, governance, and leadership, this role offers the opportunity to shape some of AUSA’s most visible and memorable student experiences.
