The Postgraduate Education Vice-President (PG EVP) is the primary advocate for postgraduate students at the University of Auckland. Representing students on major academic committees, the PEVP ensures postgraduate perspectives are included in policy and decision-making processes. 

This role involves working closely with University departments such as the School of Graduate Studies, Campus Life, and Inclusive Learning, alongside collaborating with the AUSA President and Postgraduate Student Officer. By building strong relationships and providing clear feedback, the PEVP helps shape initiatives that improve the postgraduate student experience, from academic policies to support services. 

The PEVP also plays an active role in AUSA’s governance, attending Executive and Student Council meetings, and contributing as part of the Senior Leadership Team. This position is perfect for students passionate about advocacy, equity, and postgraduate issues.
