Life Membership is the highest honour the Auckland University Students’ Association can give. It recognises people whose commitment and service have made a lasting difference to AUSA and to students at Waipapa Taumata Rau.
Every President is entitled to Life Membership when they leave office. Anyone else, whether a former student, staff member, or friend of the Association, can be appointed by a resolution of the Executive. Life Members keep the rights of membership for life, including the right to vote in AUSA elections.
