Voting in this year's AUSA Elections has been delayed by one week. The new voting window is Monday 24 August, 8am, through to Friday 28 August, 5pm, while the University finalises a secure voting platform.

We need to share an update on this year's AUSA Elections.
AUSA has been working with the University since October 2025 to secure a safe, verified platform to run student voting, including proper data security checks and student sign-on. Despite raising this early and following up consistently, the University has not been able to confirm the platform is ready and secure in time for voting to open as planned on Monday.
As a result we are delaying the start of the voting period by one week until Monday 24 August.
Voting will now open at 8:00am on 24 August and close at 5:00 pm on 28 August.
We know this delay is frustrating, especially for our candidates who have been campaigning hard. This is not something AUSA wanted or caused and we've pushed for a solution since last year. But ensuring your vote is safe, secure, and counted properly is non-negotiable for us and we won't open voting until we're confident that's guaranteed.
