Nominations for the 2026 Auckland University Students' Association (AUSA) executive elections open today. From 27 July until 7 August, any currently enrolled student can put their name forward for one of 11 positions on the AUSA Executive, the team that represents student interests at some of the University of Auckland's highest decision-making bodies, delivers campus events, and runs key student support services. All 11 positions are financially compensated.
The Executive spans 11 roles, from President through to a range of portfolio officer positions covering areas like academic affairs, welfare, and campus culture. The process is open to any student, regardless of prior political experience, a chance to represent your community and ensure student concerns shape university decision-making.
