Our Spaces

Explore AUSA safe spaces for Queer, Women, Pasifika, and Māori communities, where you can study, relax, and connect with your community.

  • Hineahuone A wide shot of Hineahuone Maori student hub Hineahuone is UoA’s Māori student hub with epic views, study areas, a kitchen, and support from Māori Student Officers. Visit the top floor of the Student Union Building to connect and unwind.
  • O Lagi Atea Moana A photograph of Cultural Space Cultural Space supports Pacific students at UoA with study areas, events, and advocacy. Visit Level 4 of the Student Union Building to connect with AUPISA and the Pasifika community.
  • Queer Space Trans rights posters on the wall in our Queer Space Queer Space is a safe, inclusive haven for queer students at UoA. Relax with comfy couches, free resources, and community support in the Atrium above the shops.
  • Women's Space The welcome board in Women's Space Women’s Space is a welcoming chill spot at UoA run by AUSA’s Women’s Rights Officers. Drop in for free products, community support, kitchen access, and a friendly, inclusive vibe.
