AUSA provides a completely independent advice service, separate from the University. This means the guidance you receive is always in your best interest.

We’re here to support students with a wide range of issues. Our services include:

  • Confidential Support: A safe space to discuss concerns, complaints, or other issues.
  • Policy Guidance: Help you locate, understand, and apply the correct University policies for complaints, appeals, and disputes.
  • Academic Integrity Advice: Guidance throughout all stages of the investigation process.
  • Bullying & Harassment Support: Assistance for issues both on and off campus.
  • General Legal Advice: Including tenancy, employment, and other legal matters.
  • Financial Support: Help in finding and accessing financial resources.
  • Referral to Support Services: Assistance in connecting with the right University services.

When in doubt, get in touch — we can usually point you in the right direction.

Pop-up Stalls - come and say hi!

Once a month during semester, the AUSA Independent Student Advice team hosts pop-up booths around campus. These booths raise awareness of our services and provide students with the opportunity to engage with us directly. You can ask questions, learn more about what we do, and find out how we can support you.

We make an effort to visit different faculties throughout the year, so keep an eye out for us! Details about upcoming booths are advertised on our social media platforms, so stay tuned.

If you see us on campus, come and say hi! We’re always happy to chat and answer any questions you may have. If your query involves a sensitive or confidential matter, we can arrange a private appointment at a later date to discuss it further.
