AUSA Independent Student Advice offers free, confidential, and professional support, advice, and information to all current students at the University of Auckland.

AUSA is 100% independent from the University, which means the advice we provide will always be in your best interests.

Our service is here to...

  • Offer a safe space for students to discuss concerns, complaints, or issues

  • Help students understand the university processes and policies for complaints, appeals, and disputes

  • Advise students on all stages of the academic misconduct process

  • Support students with personal issues including harassment and bullying

  • Assist students with general legal advice including tenancy and employment

  • Help you with any other miscellaneous issues you might encounter. If you feel lost or unsure about something, get in touch: if we don’t have the answer, we will refer you to the relevant services
