Kia ora and welcome to Week 12!

What a semester it has been! A full on-campus semester without any disruptions of COVID for the first time in what feels like forever. Nevertheless, it was still a crazy semester with disruptions of cyclones, storms, and dodgy wi-fi connections!

This semester, we saw a lot happen! At AUSA’s end, we had our Orientation Festival and Orientation Concert (ALFRED’S) with Muroki headlining, we’ve had three themed weeks (Environmental Week, Pride Week, International Week), AUSA has played a leading role in the development of a Student Voice Framework for the University of Auckland. It has been truly fantastic to see so many students engaging with our events and the work we do. Don’t worry, we’ve got an action-packed Semester 2 planned for you!

In Semester 2, we will host our AGM, our annual elections, three more themed weeks (Suffrage Week, Politics Week, and Sports Week), our Class of 2023 event, and a bunch of other awesome initiatives for you! Don’t forget, your AUSA Membership gets you discounts at UBIQ and Shadow’s, so be sure to show them your sticker when you’re in next time!
